Gloves Not Guns to Host Arkansas State Junior Olympics Boxing Tournament – Deltaplex News

The City of Pine Bluff has been selected to host the Arkansas State Junior Olympics Boxing Tournament. Pine Bluff’s “Gloves Not Guns” will serve as host club for the event. Pine Bluff was selected over several cities including Mena, Texarkana, and Harrison.

According to Coach Albert Brewer, the tournament will take place June 17-18 at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. Junior Olympic boxers representing over 20 Arkansas boxing clubs will compete for the opportunity to advance to the National Junior Olympic Championships in July.

Bouts will commence at 7pm on June 17th and at 4pm June 18th. Adult general admission will be $10.00, ages 17 to 7 will be $5.00, and no charge for children 6 years and younger.
